The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
